Mrs. Rosson

Meet Mrs. Rosson

You could say that I have teaching in my blood... and, it's often hard to imagine doing anything else!  Both of my parents (and 3 out of 4 of my grandparents) were teachers and schools have pretty much been my second home.

After working in summer education programs in high school I headed off to college to study elementary education.  I received my undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1997 and my Masters of Arts in Education from Antioch University in 2000. I began my teaching career at Kent Prairie Elementary in 1998 and then moved to Pioneer Elementary when it first opened in 2002 where I have taught both first and second grade. Pioneer is my neighborhood school and I greatly enjoy living in the community where I work. There are many special families at Pioneer and I love working with the staff, students, and families here.

My husband Marc and I have two fabulous kids who keep us busy  Our son, Luke, is AHS Class of 2019 and our daughter, Kate, is AHS Class of 2021. We enjoy taking walks with our dog (Milo), having family game night, and making the most of our family vacation time. I personally enjoy crafts, scrapbooking, walking, reading, and working on my computer.
