Emily Katsanis
Hello families! My name is Emily Katsanis, and I am the school counselor at Pioneer. I am thrilled to be working with your children this year.
A little about me: I received my Master of Arts in Education in school counseling from Seattle University in June of 2021, and I have had the privilege of working at Pioneer since the 2021-2022 school year.
My role as your child's school counselor is to support their wellbeing in the realms of social-emotional wellness, academics, and career readiness. I do this in a variety of ways, including classroom lessons, counseling groups, and 1-on-1 check-ins as needed.
I absolutely love coming to work every day and watching your students learn, play, and grow. It is such a joy to be a part of such a wonderful community!
